Our Mission
The Woodside United Methodist Church is more than a building. We are a warm and open community that welcomes all people. We try to apply the gospel of Jesus Christ to today’s world. We seek to use our unique gifts in God’s service. We are proud of our past and look forward to a vibrant future. Above all else, we strive to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves.

We worship God in person and on Zoom every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
We enjoy fellowship over the best piping hot coffee you can get in a church,
along with baked goods and other bites immediately following worship.

Observing the widespread and severe effects of social disconnection on Americans’ health, Dr. Vivek Murthy (former Surgeon General of the United States) says that “loneliness and isolation represent profound threats to our health and wellbeing.” This reality reflects what our faith already teaches us: God created us for connection and community. Drawing on the experiences of the early church in scripture, let us relearn how God leads us into lives of meaningful relationship with Godself and one another.

Prayers at the Peak: PET BLESSING - Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m.
Come out and join us at the peak entrance of the church (the door where Woodside Road and Kimbark meet). Bring your pet(s) or a photo for this special time of blessing.
PANCAKE DAY- Saturday, September 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Come enjoy some delicious pancakes, sausage, and fellowship. $10 for Adults, $7 for children 5 to 12. Children under 5 are free.
